The Evaluation of Cycle Routes in the Area of Nymburk

The main aim of the bachelor thesis is to give complete information about cycle routes in the area of Nymburk and mainly their evaluation on the basis of own field research. The cycle routes are evaluated using seven criteria. The evaluation criteria include besides the accessibility to cycle routes and the continuity of other cycle routes other criteria such as the cycle route marking, the condition of cycle routes, the safety of cycle routes, the attractiveness of cycle routes and tourism and cycling inftrastructure. After the evaluation a summary of information about the cycle routes, suggestions for their retrofitting and a categorization of the cycle routes according to the type of target group follow. The thesis also includes six tips for cycle trips.

Cycle tourism of České Budějovice in comparison to the chosen foreign region

This bachelor thesis is comparing the conditions for bicycle tourism in the regions of České Budějovice and Bodam Lake and is evaluating its importance to the development of the tourist trade of these two regions. On the basis of analysis, the strong and the weak points of both regions are determined and the possibilities of the devolopment into the future are suggested. The work has two parts. The first one deals with the system of cycle paths as the primary determinant of bicycle tourism in each region. The second part concentrates on the service area created especially for bicycle tourism purposes. The main goal of this work is to propose solutions which would lead to the development of the regional tourism potential and help the creation of an attractive cyclotourism destination.
